Covid-19 for us
Covid-19 was a difficult time for the villagers and the closure of borders meant the team couldn't travel to Cambodia for the time being. The villagers' whose jobs depended on border travel at the Thai border were especially affected. The team decided to raise funds and help the villagers as much as we could.
Battambakes & Covid Relief Support
In order to raise funds for the villagers, our team partnered with P.O.S.H Brownie & Monster Cookie to sell baked goods. The money raised was used as part of our Covid Relief Support where funds were sent over to the villagers to purchase basic household necessities such as rice and oil, which had become expensive for many due to the impact of Covid-19. The fundraiser was also a good opportunity for the committee to bond and reach out to the community in Cambodia despite not being physically there for the past 2 years.
